Hello! My name is Laura Juarez and I am excited for the opportunity to teach the next generation here at Faith Christian Academy!

I earned my Bachelor’s of Elementary Education degree from Texas State University. I received my teaching certification in Early Childhood through 6th grade, along with a certification in English as a Second Language. Prior to being at FCA, I worked in the Austin Independent School District for 3 years, teaching kindergarten and 2nd grade. I also worked at Meridian World School in Round Rock, teaching Spanish and 3rd grade. This will be my 11th year in education!

I have been married for 27 years to my husband, Victor, and we have 2 children, Bella and Ethan. We are so grateful that God has planted us at Church on the Rock and have been members for 7 years now.

I am truly honored to be a part of the vision that God gave our Pastors, Dr. Hattabaugh and Pastor Angie for FCA. I am blessed to be able to do what I love and furthermore, to be able to do it in a place where God and His word are integrated into everyday learning.

My name is Kristina Lutge. I have lived in Georgetown for almost five years. I earned my nursing degree in California where I grew up. My favorite part of nursing was educating the patients to continue with self-care.

I am married and have three children whom I home-schooled for nine years. We are proud members of Church on the Rock where our lives have been forever changed.

When our children began attending FCA, I was given the opportunity to substitute, and assistant teach. It is a blessing to join the FCA staff as a middle school teacher and to partner with the parents to help develop academic and spiritual excellence in their students! I am honored to be a part of our Pastor’s vision to sow into the next generation.

My name is Amy Chapman, and I am so blessed to be teaching at Faith Christian Academy!

I grew up in Georgetown, graduated from Texas A & M University with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Sciences, and then lived and worked in Houston for nine years. After moving back to the Georgetown area, I was a substitute teacher for three years with Jarrell ISD during which time I completed my teaching certification through LeTourneau University in April 2009. I then taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade English, Social Studies, and Power Reading at Jarrell Middle School for five years.

I have two grown children, Emma and Clayton, live in Jarrell, and I have been a member of Church on the Rock since 2012.

My love of reading and writing was developed at an early age by my parents who were also teachers. I have always enjoyed school, and I believe that we should never stop learning. I am honored to have been a teacher at FCA since the start of the school and to witness God fulfilling the vision that He gave our Pastors.

My name is Francisco Mendoza and I’m honored to teach Art at Faith Christian Academy. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, but I moved to Texas as fast as I could! I served in the Army for six years, three in Germany and three in Texas which is how I became to be a part of this great state. I went to the High School of Music and Art in Manhattan, NY (the school the movie Fame is based on) where I majored in Art. After I left the military, I furthered my art education by attending the Graphic Arts Institute in Dallas, TX. After completing my education, I worked in the graphic design business for 14 years, including being a part-owner of a design company for several of those years. In 2005, I left the design business and joined the staff of our church, Church on the Rock, where I still serve to this day.

I’m married and have 5 children and 5 grandchildren. Most of them are members and serve at our local church.

We are truly blessed to be a part of this wonderful family and grateful to be able to serve and help fulfill God’s plan for the children of Faith Christian Academy, and looking forward to seeing all that He has for them. Go Bulldogs!

I am honored to be part of the Bulldog family! I have lived in Georgetown for over twenty years, and am a graduate of Georgetown High School. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Education from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. I have always had a passion for working with youth, and I am honored to have the opportunity to do so! I am entering my 14th year of teaching this year. I taught for five years in Round Rock ISD before becoming an FCA Bulldog. Though I have taught many subjects over the years, my focus has always been in math and science. I’m looking forward to another great year at FCA!

I am married and have three children, two daughters and a son, who keep us laughing every day. We are members of Church on the Rock and could not be happier about where God has planted us. We are honored to serve our Pastors and our church body in the youth department! What a blessing it has been to see God working through our young people!

I am excited about this opportunity to work with our youth at FCA. I appreciate our Pastors’ hearts to establish a school that brings the church atmosphere around our youth every day of the week, sets a standard of excellence, and most importantly puts God as the first priority.
